Arkona is a total-conversion modification for Gothic II: Night of the Raven, set after the main character – Gerrin – escapes from the port city of Khorinis following an orc invasion. Last year it was presented in an announcement on the World of Gothic forum, which gives you an idea of the objectives of this modification. In this article, we will provide information on the progress and dubbing.
Date of release
The content of the modification with the exception of the dubbing is ready. Dubbing is 60% complete. The team continues testing and fixing minor bugs. Triber – the Czech modder leading the work cannot promise anything, but if all goes well, a summer release of the modification will be feasible.1
English dubbing
It is announced that Arkona will be the first modification for the Gothic series games to feature English dubbing recorded by voice actors. They come from as many as nine countries, and include singers and streamers. From the list below, you can find out what roles they play, as well as their activities:
